2) Thailand: The Land of Smiles, continues its meteoric rise from backpacker haven to mainstream holiday favourite. The appeal is obvious: lush countryside and white-sand beaches, sensational food, friendly people and low prices. But Thailand also has a unique cultural heritage, infused by Buddhist ideals.
